Tilt-Up panels are used as load bearing elements, eliminating perimeter beams and columns, to simplify the design and construction of foundation, in addition to cutting the cost of materials and labor. Tilt-Up panels are cast horizontally, with mixed concrete and reinforced steel bars like a floor slab. After the panels have achieved proper strength, they can be lifted and placed into position as load bearing structural walls.
